The book is a little amateurish. The information is good, but nothing new or groundbreaking. It just seems to be a compilation of dietary information I have read before. This book is a good tool for those who are really overweight, and a good tool for those who lack the discipline to design their own work out regiment. The exercises are easy to follow and simple to do. The book also has some good ideas on how to motivate yourself to do the workouts.

I don't think the book will benefit those who are in moderate to good physical shape.

I bought this book and let it sit on my self for far to long. By the time I had gained 20 extra lbs I decided to do the program. I didn't lose any weight, but I could tell a difference in my muscles (especially in my arms). Plus, when my boyfriend and I would wrestle around, he could tell I was stronger. I would recommend this book as a starting point, do the 28 days and then move on to something with a little more weight training. When I reach my goal weight, I will use this program again to maintain my weightloss. I am a 21year old femail 5'7 weighing 150lbs.

Stars Here's what I thought....
Easy to follow, sensible way to lose weight. I'm not totally sold on the 8 minutes of exercise contributing that much to weight loss, but the diet plan is rock solid. Really like the diet cards too. Other weight loss books I like include "The No-Beach, No-Zone,, No-Nonsense Weight Loss Plan, A Pocket Guide To What Works."
