| This is a great book for beginners! It contains easy to follow instructions and color pictures/diagrams. If your new to sewing/quilting like me, you'll find that this book is incredibly helpful. Great help for beginning quilters |
| I started quilting about a month ago, and have been looking at quilting books for that time. I have been teaching myself hand-quilting, and have taken one machine course. This book is one of the ones that I keep by me at all times. I am constantly referring back to it. There is only one other book that I like as much for the amount of information in it and that is _All About Quilting A to Z._ If you are starting quilting and have never quilted before (maybe even haven't sewn much), then this is the book for you. I got this book from amazon.com sight unseen and was ecstatic with it. I would have to say that this is one of the only quilting books that I can recommend for any beginner. If you get this one and the All About Quilting A to Z book, you will be set for quite a while. |
